Blessing Mass and Packing Party

This morning at the 10:30am Mass at St. Wenceslaus our group gathered to have Fr Kevin bless us. We are so fortunate to have the support of our priest as well as the parishioners. 

After Mass we were able to eat a wonderful meal together (don't judge me, I mainly ate desserts) which was prepared by Emily's mom, Lynn. The parent support has been amazing through this year long preparation for the trip so we were not surprised to have so many parents help out again today. 

As the meal wrapped up our work began with sorting donations, and then packing suitcases, labeling suitcases and weighing them. Everyone pitched in which helped the process move along. The donations came from Divine Mercy in Faribault, St. Wenceslaus in New Prague and various family/friends of the mission trip participants. We also collected close to $1500 in cash to donate to the mission for needed supplies. Thank you all so much for generosity.
